Look at all our fun activities

The last day of swimming lesson

Too bad this is the last day of swimming lesson. We had so much fun learning how to swim. It would soon be over. We made it the best of the lesson.

Swimming lesson is always fun. Before the lesson, we warm up with our friend Emily Strong. This is a must.

We still have time. Let's do more warm up exercises.

We're kicking water at the deep end of the pool, but sure don't like water being splashed onto our faces.

Look at me, swimming at the deep end of the pool!

I am so brave. I am hanging on at the deep end of the pool without any help.

With a little help, I am treading water.

I am doing a back float. Look at me go!

The Bangor waterfront

Here's the Penobscot River that we crossed over by car many times.
Oh look, two men getting ready to go into their kayaks.
We really liked watching them. There's that special paddle.
Here goes the first man, paddling out into the middle of the river.
Wonder they are are going, looks fun.
Our best found on the waterfront, a cannon!

Ethan told mama all about how the cannon works. It uses oil to blow the ball out!
Why not imagine firing a cannon ball across the river to defend Bangor!

We've been running and running, so tired, let's go home!

Picking strawberries at Adam's Farm
Strawberroes, strawberries everywhere, so exciting!

Mama is busy looking for the best and juiciest picks.
Oh, oh, I found one to put in my basket.
Me too!

Yum yum, maybe we eat more than we pick!

How can I resist this big, juicy one?

Should I eat these or should I put them in my basket?

Enjoying the fruit of our labor, ice cream with strawberry-rhubarb pie that mama made.

I love it, mmm. . .

Games at Home

We are good at putting a 63 piece Lion King jigsaw puzzle together.

How about Chinese checkers?

We only like the jumping part, too hard to think of strategies!

I love reading certain books though I can't quite figure out the words yet.

I am Ethan Spencer Tang, yes siree!

ACK!!! They like RHUBARB??? What's the mater with these kids? oh wait...maybe it's me! Picking strawberries reminds me of when Nancy and I went to N. Carolina and went berry picking with them...and they were a huge red mess when we were done with that!

Didn't we have a hard time trying to find that Adam's Farm. These strawberries turned out to be more expansive than the store bought ones. If it wasn't because of the experience, it is not worth it.
What do you mean, Michelle, rhubarb is great as long as you put a lot of sugar in it. With strawberry in the pie, it tastes even yummier. Mom is the greatest pie maker of all. The grandchildren loved the pie.

I still think that rhubarb is nasty...and what's the point of eating if it's no good without sugar? Then there's more sugar that vegetable! I think I have had strawberry rhubarb pie as well. It is better with the strawberry addition.
