This is for real !!

Ever since day camp started, our Lego box plus all our toys have magically disappeared. Yeye said Mama will wave her magic wand tonight, and everything will MAGICALLY appear again on Saturday morning. We shall see, shall we not? We have developed a love for books from the library. I should REALLY spend some quality time with Isaac. I read a couple of books to him. I really enjoyed it. It was a good bonding experience.

Ethan and Isaac do a lot of things together, such as playing house, using Lego pieces to build airplanes, and reading. Tonight, he actually read to Isaac. It was so cute. We had to take a picture of this memorable occasion.

The last day of swimming lesson

Too bad this is the last day of swimming lesson. We had so much fun learning how to swim. It would soon be over. We made it the best of the lesson.

Swimming lesson is always fun. Before the lesson, we warm up with our friend Emily Strong. This is a must.

We still have time. Let's do more warm up exercises.

We're kicking water at the deep end of the pool, but sure don't like water being splashed onto our faces.

The Bangor waterfront

Here's the Penobscot River that we crossed over by car many times.

Oh look, two men getting ready to go into their kayaks.

We really liked watching them. There's that special paddle.

Here goes the first man, paddling out into the middle of the river.

Wonder they are are going, looks fun.

Our best found on the waterfront, a cannon!

Ethan told mama all about how the cannon works. It uses oil to blow the ball out!

Why not imagine firing a cannon ball across the river to defend Bangor!

We've been running and running, so tired, let's go home!

Mama is busy looking for the best and juiciest picks.

We are good at putting a 63 piece Lion King jigsaw puzzle together.

We only like the jumping part, too hard to think of strategies!

I love reading certain books though I can't quite figure out the words yet.

Why this picture?

Don't worry, we are till alive and kicking. The grandchildren have not driven us to our early graves.

When we first drove passed this Catholic cemetery, Ethan and Isaac exclaimed: "This is the Dying Place." We drove by this "dying place" at least twice a day 4 times a week during swimming lesson time. We've since taught them the proper term - cemetery. To day, as we went to the Bangor water front. I asked them to look, look and see the "dying place." They told me that I have forgotten this is not a dying place, it is a cemetery. HOW FUNNY!!
