Another week of swimming lessons

I am getting ready to "swim" in the deep end of the pool.

then swim back to the edge of the pool. It was fun.

July 4th, 2008 Independence Day

We are the true Americans. Let's raise the flag.

Look at this bunch of Shriners. They are driving over the ramp.

Sand Beach, here we come. This is the best beach ever.

Mama, I don't want to go. The water is scary.

From Ethan and Isaac: These are our fun days!

Our second day of swimming lesson! We kicked the water, blew bubbles, and swam on our tummy and back. Durimg our free time we did all kind of fun things.

After swimming lesson, we play in the nearby playground.

Friday (6/27/08) - we visited the Bangor Children Museum

It was soooo fun to pump water to turn the red water wheels. We are strong, are we not?

Are we good or what? We hope you enjoy our puppet show.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day, what is that? Since no one is here to cook the dinner, I am rather happy to do my own favorite dish.
This is my famous pot roast dinner

109th Husson College Graduation

Another chapter is closed for Husson College. This is the last year we will be called Husson College. As of October 2008, our name will be changed to Husson University. This is also the first year we conferred Doctorial degree to Physical Therapy graduates.



The traditional pageantry with the bagpipers leading the procession.

Since Dr. Tang was one of the professors reading the names of students graduating from one the programs, he was walking in the front of the line up.

Let the ceremony begin. Standing at the podium is our College President, President Beardsley.

What is SO different about this home?

On April 19, 2008, the day after Dad became an American citizen, we invited the Hassells, Bernatches, and the Vogels to dinner to send the Hassells away to Oklahoma. The Bernatches found out that we became Americans, a year or so ago for Mom and a day ago for Dad. They brought us a 2x4 feet flag. He couldn't wait for us to put it up ourselves and did it for us before dinner. What a "wicked good" guy.

Yes, the flag was flown at our back door for a few hours and put away. We decided to fly it on spcial occassions only.
